Give your scene a setting.
A useful background supports the message without competing with it. Start with the subject, light, and room you need for the words. Then inspect the generated image before it becomes part of your video.
Describe the image, not the whole video.
For a short introduction, this was our original prompt:
“An original editorial still life: a matte deep green ceramic bowl beside folded warm peach linen, soft window light, natural shadows, a calm uncluttered composition with generous empty space. No people, logos, lettering or text.”

The result follows the subject and color direction, but the bowl is glossier than requested and the fabric is draped rather than folded. Those differences may work for a general mood image. They would matter if this were an advertisement for an exact product.
Generate, review, then apply.
- Open a video, select the scene, and save your latest changes.
- Expand Generate a scene image. Describe a still background in up to 1,500 characters and confirm your rights and permissions.
- Generate a candidate. The early-access trial allows five attempts per workspace per day, subject to shared service capacity. Failed and cancelled attempts count.
- Inspect objects, text, people, logos, physical details, and the claims your video will make. Approve only a suitable result.
- Choose Approve and use image, check the video preview, and save the new version. Undo can restore the previous background.
The image fills the scene, so a square source is cropped in portrait or landscape video. Keep the important subject away from the edges. Review the export before publishing, especially if a headline covers part of the subject.
Use your real product when accuracy matters.
This text-to-image trial creates a new still image. It does not maintain character identity across scenes, reproduce a supplied product, animate footage, or edit an existing photo. Upload a photo you own or have permission to use when the video needs an exact product, person, package, or logo. A generated background is not evidence that a product has a particular feature.
Generated candidates stay private in your workspace until you choose to download or share your work. Approval adds an image to your draft; it does not publish the video. Add a recording or reviewed narration, then export your saved revision. Use the caption editor if a separate subtitle track needs timing corrections.
